Правильная социализация щенка является важным компонентом для воспитания счастливой и сбалансированной собаки. Период взросления щенка имеет прямое отношение к его дальнейшей жизни. По этой причине очень важно правильно его социализировать. Основной период социализации проходит в возрасте от 8 до 16 недель. Ниже мы приведём список вещей с которыми необходимо познакомить щенка за этот период.
Для правильной социализации очень важно чтобы все контакты были положительными, а не просто нейтральными и уж тем более отрицательными. Если щенок получит ранний, положительный опыт в период от 8 до 16 недель (с разными людьми, предметами, звуками, и т. д.) это поможет развить в нём уверенность, способность справляться со стрессом и общее положительное отношение к миру.
Вы также можете отметить реакцию вашей собаки на каждую позицию из списка. Проявления агрессии (рычание, лай, выпады), избегание, замирание, спокойствие и расслабленность, возможность принимать угощения и т.д.
Прикосновения и обработки:
Проверка ушей;
Исследование зубов и десен;
Сжимание лап;
Обрезка когтей;
Держание щенка на руках;
Держание щенка на коленях;
Укладка щенка на спину и осмотр живота;
Мытьё;
Сушка полотенцем.
Незнакомые Люди:
Женщины;
Люди разных национальностей;
Мужчины с вариациями (в шляпе, высокие мужчины, глубокий голос и т.д.);
Люди в солнечных очках;
Люди с тростью или ходунками;
Подростки (шумные компании);
Бегущие люди;
Играющие рядом дети.

Воспитанные собаки;
Хорошо социализированные собаки, которые будут корректировать границы приемлемого поведения;
