Итак, как сделать, что бы щенок не кусал поводок? Есть несколько способов решить эту проблему. Вы можете попробовать их все и посмотреть, что лучше подходит именно вашей собаке.

Убедитесь, что правильно используете амуницию. Поводок должен быть свободным, но не чрезмерно провисающим и болтающимся перед мордой вашего щенка, это провоцирует собаку его схватить. Поводок должен быть за затылком собаки.

Используйте лакомство, чтобы перенаправить внимание щенка с поводка на вас. Это важное упражнение, оно учит собаку контактировать с вами.

Распылите на поводок средство от погрызов. Хорошими средствами являются горькое яблоко или белый уксус (продаются в зоомагазинах), их нужно распылить на нижней части поводка. Повторяйте обработку перед каждой прогулкой.

Поводок-цепочка. Щенкам не нравится вкус металла и они не заинтересованы в его жевании. В дальнейшем вы можете заменить поводок-цепочку на обычный поводок.

Пульверизатор. Многим щенкам не нравятся брызги воды в "лицо". Это может послужить лёгкой коррекцией такого поведения. Перед тем как брызнуть из пульверизатора, обязательно дайте команду " нет ". Этот способ не очень хорош и имеет минусы. Лучше его использовать как крайнюю меру.
Каждый щенок индивидуален, поэтому вам нужно подобрать способ, подходящий именно для вашей собаки. Независимо от того, какой вариант вы выбираете, реализовывайте его последовательно и каждый раз, когда щенок кусает поводок.
